Bruce was named national runner-up at the Daily Mail’s Enterprising Young Brits awards 2008 and went on to sell her award-winning cult Internet radio brand PlayVybz, which attracted ‘A-list’ guests including Usain Bolt, Oscar winner Viola Davis, Chicken Soup for the Soul author Jack Canfield, TV personality and New York Times bestseller Iyanla Vanzant, personal development guru Les Brown and artists Jessie J, Angie Stone, the late Teena Marie, as well as former Choice FM drivetime DJs and Grammy-nominees to its presenter roster.
The digital native then joined the UK’s largest commercial radio group, Global, before being headhunted by a national newspaper, where she became Online Editor; organically boosting the brand’s digital footprint by 25% in less than a year.
Her early career as a creator saw her DJ-ing at iconic London club, Ministry of Sound and BBC Three Counties Radio; as well as making an appearance on Heart FM and as a voiceover for adverts on LBC. The Pinewood Studios-trained presenter has featured in several British music videos alongside the likes of chart-topping grime star Scorcher and has interviewed Oscar winner Viola Davis, artists Freddie McGregor, Fuse ODG, D’Banj, Estelle and many more.
A brand guardian with commercial focus, she has crafted compelling stories with outstanding ROI on behalf of sector leaders and a range of award-winning SMEs and charities.
The media tactician has also project-managed a range of events, in partnership with Google's Campus, Oxfam and others and has modelled for June Sarpong's fashion range LDNY, of which the UN are partners.
